HEBER SPRINGS MINISTERIAL ALLIANCE
The purpose of the Heber Springs Ministerial Alliance
is to foster unity among the churches in Heber Springs and the surrounding area. Pastors meet together for encouragement
and fellowship the second Wednesday of each month, except for June, July, and August. All Christian clergy are welcome
to participate in meetings and activities.
The logo consists of three lines in the shape of a waterfall.
The blue line represents the water features of our community: Greers Ferry Lake, Little Red River, and Seven Springs Park.
The green line represents the natural beauty of the hills and valleys of our area. The red line represents the blood
of Christ when He died for our sins.
- The Alliance sponsors two community worship events each year. One is held
on Palm Sunday and the second is the Sunday evening before Thanksgiving. Both services are held in area churches.
- The
Alliance provides assistance to travelers in need of lodging, food, or gasoline.
- The Alliance distributes Christmas
Food Vouchers to families in need. Names of families are referred by local pastors.
- The Alliance maintains a Disaster
Relief Fund to assist families after natural disasters and home fires.
- The Alliance serves as the sponsoring organization
for Hospital Chaplains for Baptist Medical Center - Heber Springs.
- The Alliance cooperates with the Christian
Health Center in their Chaplain program.
